packets of this stuff keep apearing in my editing equipment (well VCRs etc)
am i supposed to do something with it?

Hey there.
Doesnt it absorb moister from the air? Keeping your electronics dry. Something like that anyway.

yeh, it takes the moisture from the air.... the reason it says "do not eat" or something like that is cos you get them in packets of things like biscuits that need to be kept dry.

i supose the're there for when stores keep electronics in a possibly moist wharehouse.
my "editing room" is reasonably dry (except for the many cups of coffey balancing on various stacks of tapes, magazines, CD's etc...) so i suppose i wouldnt need them
